During your refractive surgery evaluation, you will have the chance to meet with one of BVA's experienced ophthalmologists. This initial meeting not only allows you to meet and speak with your ophthalmologist to learn more about them, but it also allows them to meet you and speak to you about your vision goals.
During the initial refractive valuation, your ophthalmologist will review your medical history and make sure you are in good overall health. Some medical conditions, such as high blood pressure, can pose higher risks during your refractive procedure.
Your ophthalmologist will also examine your eye and perform several different tests to determine your eyes are healthy enough to undergo the refractive procedure you are considering.
One of the most important aspects of the initial refractive evaluation is the chance for you to discuss with your ophthalmologist what refractive surgery procedure you are considering, and what vision goals you would like to achieve.
Also, your ophthalmologist will be able to explain the entire procedure you are considering to you. They will also be able to answer all your questions so that you are complete comfortable with the procedure, and you have a clear understanding about what to expect.
If you are considering any type of refractive surgery procedure, contact one of the experienced ophthalmologists from BVA.
