Optometrist Solorzano serving Ada area
Dr. Jorge Solorzano has joined
the BVA Advanced Eye Care to help with patients in the Ada
office as optometrist and clinical director. Dr. Jeff Wipfli,
ophthalmic surgeon, will continue to serve clinics in Stroud,
Cushing and Holdenville.
Dr. Solorzano completed his
ocular disease residency at Northeastern State
University/Oklahoma College of Optometry, in association with
BVA-West. He received his doctorate of optometry at the
University of California, Berkeley/School of Optometry and
interned at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in
Miami, Fla.
Dr. Solorzano maintains active
memberships in the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians
and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Solorzano is a native of
Lima Peru. He and his wife, Katrina, have two daughters, Janelly
and Adelina, are involved in their church and enjoy
family-oriented activities.

Cushing and Holdenville, the clinics are open by appointment
only. Stroud’s clinic is located at 2308 Highway 66, Cushing’s

BVA Advanced Eye Care includes 10 ophthalmologists and seven
optometrists. Its mission is to serve the rural areas, with hubs
not only in Ada, but also in Edmond, Tulsa and Elk City, and
